Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026
The short version: Flag Carrier: Airline Tycoon does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All game progress, settings, and Skybux balance live only on your device. The only network activity in the iOS and Android apps is processing optional Skybux purchases through Apple or Google.

What we don't do

Flag Carrier: Airline Tycoon (the “Game”) is a single-player offline-capable game developed and published by SmothLabs (“we”, “our”). To be specific about what the Game does not do:

What stays on your device

The Game stores your game state — airline name, livery choice, fleet, routes, cash, Skybux balance, scenario progress, and notification history — in your browser's local storage (or, on the native iOS / Android build, in the equivalent platform-managed app sandbox). This data:

Hosting & the public web build

The public web version of the Game is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When your browser requests the Game's HTML and JavaScript, Cloudflare logs the request (IP address, browser identifier, the file requested, timestamp) as part of standard web-server operation. SmothLabs does not access or query these logs except to debug a confirmed outage, and the logs are subject to Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy. The native iOS / Android builds make no network requests after install other than the purchase processing described in the next section.

In-app purchases

The iOS and Android apps offer optional packs of Skybux, the Game's in-game currency, as consumable in-app purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To deliver and restore purchases, the app uses the RevenueCat SDK, which sends RevenueCat your purchase receipts and a random anonymous identifier generated by the SDK. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. Purchase history is used only to credit Skybux to your balance, including after a reinstall when you tap “Restore purchases.” Everything that Skybux can buy can also be earned by playing.

Crash reporting

The public web version of the Game uses Sentry to capture unexpected crash reports so we can find and fix bugs. Crash reports contain only the technical details needed to diagnose the crash:

Crash reports do not contain your game state, airline name, fleet, or any personally identifying information. The Sentry “Send Default PII” setting is explicitly disabled in our configuration, which also stops Sentry from recording your IP address against the event.

Crash reporting is also disabled entirely in the native iOS and Android builds (no Sentry traffic leaves the device).

Third-party content

The Game references real-world place names (cities, airports identified by IATA code) and aircraft type designations (e.g. “Boeing 737-800”) as descriptive game content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline, airport, or aircraft manufacturer. All in-game airline names (Beacon Air, Mountain Crown Air, Yellowbird, etc.) are fictional.

Children's privacy

The Game is rated suitable for ages 4 and up. Because we collect no information, we cannot and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction).

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — for example, if a future version of the Game adds optional cloud save or analytics — we will update this page and prominently disclose the change inside the Game before the new behavior begins.
